The Junior Club Championships return on 19 & 26 October, a prestigious event where our most talented young golfers compete for Club glory. Rolling start on the 19th, shotgun on the 26th – skill, sportsmanship, and determination are on full display.

🏆Spotlight on Past Club Champions: Oliver Goss
Junior Club Champion in 2009, 2010 & 2011
Club Champion in 2009 & 2011
Joining Royal Fremantle in 2000 at just 6 years old, Oliver Goss quickly rose through the junior ranks, securing a rare hat trick of Junior Club Championships with three consecutive wins while simultaneously winning the overall Club Championship in 2009 and 2011. His talent soon shone on the state stage, making history as the first amateur since 1991 to win the WA Open in 2012.
The following year, Ollie finished runner-up at the 2013 U.S. Amateur, earning him exemptions into both the @usopengolf and @themasters. In 2014, he etched his name into the record books as the first Australian ever to claim Low Amateur honours at the Masters.
After turning professional later that year, Ollie went on to compete at the highest level before returning home to share his knowledge and experience. Today, he is shaping the future of the game as a coach at Royal Fremantle and, most recently, as the appointed @golfwestaust State Coach, guiding the next generation of champions.

☀️ The weather gods were kind for the Anniversary Cup on Sunday, 31 August – and so were the golf scores! After a week’s delay, players enjoyed sunshine, little wind, and plenty of great golf.
🍴 From tandoori chicken biryani at lunch to a 3-course dinner with live music, it was a day of prestige on and off the course.
