JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP AT CAPACITY – Waitlist available
Our Junior Membership is currently on a waitlist, reflecting the growing interest in fostering young talent at Royal Fremantle Golf Club. This membership offers aspiring golfers access to our outstanding facilities, specialized coaching programs, and the opportunity to participate in engaging competitions. Designed to cultivate skills and build friendships, our Junior Membership provides a supportive and fun environment for young golfers.
MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES & BENEFITS
Junior Member
- Daily access to a championship golf course and practice facilities
- Access to PGA of Australia Coaches
- Weekly Junior competitions held on Sunday mornings, playing for Monthly Medal, Stroke Average and Order of Merit awards
- Engage with other juniors and develop new friendships
- Represent Royal Fremantle by playing in the Club’s Pennant Teams
Junior SPR Member
- SPR stands for Special Playing Rights
- Membership category earned by achieving a handicap of 9.9 or below and satisfying the Core Values of Royal Fremantle and the Junior Program.
- SPR Juniors have the same benefits as Junior Members with the addition of booking and playing rights to all of the Club competitions during the week, except the women’s competitions if you are a male.

Competition Access for those aged 12+
Effective from 1st December 2023, Junior Members who:
- have attained the age of 12 and above
- have B Grade handicaps (GA handicap of <18.9 boys and <29.9 girls)
- list RFGC as their home Club
May participate in adult competitions subject to meeting the below criteria:
- The junior member must meet and maintain handicap requirements
- The junior member must be invited to play by an adult
- The junior member must seek approval from the General Manager or Club Captain
- Access to bookings will only be available 3 days prior to competition
- Junior members may be balloted out of fields, up to 24 hours before play, should a waitlist (of adult members) exist
This opportunity to access competition times outside of the dedicated junior competition has been introduced to improve our junior pathway opportunities, recognising that the Club boasts a fantastic group of teenage members, who may not reach single figure handicap status, but wish to play with parents and other members.

Junior Membership is currently at capacity. To join the waitlist, fill in the application form below and the Membership Coordinator will contact you when a position becomes available. The process of membership still follows as below:
Process
- Submit a completed application form to Membership
- You will be contacted when a position becomes available
- Meet with General Manager, Lucy Guppy
- Application is submitted for Board approval
- Membership commences from the 1st of the following month

Competitions
Weekly Junior Competitions are held on Sunday mornings. Players compete for weekly prizes alongside the annual Stroke Average and Order of Merit awards, presented at the Junior Awards Night at the end of the year.
A Monthly Medal is hosted each month with the Winner earning their place in the final, competing for the Monthly Medal Trophy.
